    Breakfast at your hotel. Meet your local guide for a full day guided tour. Proceed for a drive to Vatican for a guided tour to see the Vatican Museum to admire the frescoes of Michelangelo at the Sistine Chapel. Visit also the St. Peter Square, destination of all Catholics coming from all over the world. In the afternoon, visit the Basilica San Paul Outside the Walls, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, and The Holy Steps.     Rome – Montecassino – San Giovanni Rotondo (BD)
    After breakfast, check out of the hotel. We take a long-distance drive to Montecassino, the Abbey
    founded by St. Benedict in the year 529 and built on top of a mountain. The Benedictine rule of “Ora et Labora”, meaning “Pray and Work” follows 8 hours of prayer, 8 hours of sleep & 8 hours of manual work or spiritual reading or charity. It is written that one notorious monk disagreed with this rule and tried to poison St. Benedict. When St. Benedict made the sign of the cross, the chalice that contained the poison broke and the plot was discovered. In another mountain was the abbey where his twin sister St. Scholastica once led young women to the monastic life. We proceed to San Giovanni Rotondo - the small town where Padre Pio’s incorrupt body is entombed in the Church of Our Lady of Grace. Meet your local guide for a full day tour through the small town where Padre Pio’s incorrupt body is entombed in the Chuch of Our Lady of Grace. Group dinner and overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.

    Breakfast at the hotel. Celebrate Holy Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Grace. Pay Homage to the exhumed incorrupt body of St. Rio of Pietrelcina. Padre Pio bore the five wounds of Jesus for 50 years. Throngs of people were drawn to his confessional. He brought peace of mind, consolation and serenity to thousands. He had the gifts of healing, bilocaton and prophecy. His burial was attended by more than 100,000 people. People would line up at the church entrance for two hours to attend his masses. He died at the age of 81. Lunch on own arrangements.     San Giovanni Rotondo – Lanciano – Loreto – Assisi (BD)
    We will have breakfast at our hotel before we embark on a drive up the Adriatic coast to Lanciano where we will see the Eucharistic Miracle, and celebrate Mass. We then continue on to the great Marian shrine of Loreto to visit the Holy House of Nazareth and the beautiful Madonna of Loreto with half day guide. More than 50 popes have made a pilgrimage to the house transported by angels to this hill in central Italy in 1294. Tradition has it that this is the house in which Mary first prayed the Magnificat, in which Jesus grew to manhood, and in which the Holy Family lived. Continue to Assisi.     Breakfast at the hotel and depart for the most loved St. Francis. Today’s highlight is a visit to the monastery of Montserrat, perched high on an awesome mountain range rising from the Catalonian plain. Visit the Royal Basilica and pray to the venerated Black Madonna which according to tradition, was carved by St. Luke. Listen to the singing of the celebrated “Escalonia” by the children’s choir, considered be the oldest in Europe.     Breakfast at the hotel. Then we drive up to picturesque hills of Spain via Salamanca and arrive at Burgos, the home of “EL CID” and capital of Old Castille in the middle Ages. It was once a seat of the government of the Dictator Franco. If time

    Burgos – Loyola – Lourdes (BD)
    After breakfast depart for Loyola. Pray at the Basilica. The museum will impress you. It was in Loyola that Our Lady appeared to St. Ignatius with the Christ Child. Then profound conversion began. Later in life, St. Ignatius renounced his portion of the family’s wealth, wrote the famous book of Spiritual Exercises and became the founder of the Jesuit Order.     Breakfast and then check-out of the hotel. Enjoy a half day city tour of Paris. You will see the majestic Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, and Place de Concorde, one of the most admired plazas in the world. Off course there will be time to take pictures of the Eiffel Tower.
